Link Building Tools You Shouldn’t Miss This Year
Efficiency in link building requires a set of tools to generate results beyond its normal output time. These tools have their own ways of helping link builders make their work much easier. These include:
- Increasing the speed of finding link opportunities on different web places.
- Regular tracking of web mentions and fresh/new links.
- Providing new search queries that are targeted to a specific niche type.
- Quickly generate results that are needed for link acquisition (e.g. collecting emails of link targets).
There are several link building tools that provide a few or even all of the features stated above. However, you only have to choose a few of them to minimize costs and focus on the core features that these tools offer.

When finding the best tool in link building, you need to ask yourself, “Will the product satisfy my needs today?”. If yes, then the product is worth considering in your link building toolset.

The good thing with this tool is that it covers almost everything you need to know about the backlink profile of a website. Take a look at the image below. This is what the platform of Cognitive SEO looks like when you performed a basic link audit.
Insights on the upper portion of the backlink profile:
- The number of referring domains shows the number of sites linking to a specific website regardless if links built are sitewide or not.
- Monthly link velocity graph will show the approach used in link building. If in case a sudden rise/drop is seen in the graph, it simply means that multiple links were built using automated tools. This is very important in identifying if the site is worth the effort of getting links from.
- Daily New/Lost links graph will provide an idea if the site is building its content portfolio to continuously acquire links from other sites. However, if links were automatically built (black hat), the same drop/rise can also be seen.
